This class is a weeklong workshop that talks of where we
came from; when doing
was the teacher and listening was of most importance.
The participants will be working with clay and copper the
old way, doing smoke
and pit firing, and carrying it through to present times.
The history of the Great Lakes Basin plays an important
role in this class.
A one-week workshop is offered each year and is held in
late June. Each workshop will differ and will have its own
voice. This is a hands-on
experience.
